Follow Simple Steps of Back Yoga to Overcome Back Pain

Back pain scares indiscriminately to every one regardless of country, race, age and gender. Almost every one suffers in one time or the other in life with this problem. In today’s stressful life, back pain is not a problem which needs more emphasis.

While at work, the style of work requires continuously sitting posture in the same position for longer hours. After some time, this sitting work style starts showing its effect with back pain. To get rid of this problem instantly, many persons normally resort to crash exercise schedules; this, however, rather than giving beneficial effects, at times worsens the pain, because back injuries are usually delicate and chronic on which many therapeutic solutions do not normally create any effect. Many turn to back yoga for getting relief from these back problems.

There are some hard traditional exercises that can enhance pain levels and aggravate the problem. Usually the physicians suggest some sort of physical activity to those suffering from back problem; these exercises aimed to strengthen the area and reduce the overall pain. “Plant pose” is a back yoga posture. In this posture you have to hold your body in the top of a pushup position. This yoga exercise gives strengths to the muscles of the back and you feel relief from the pain associated with the back tension.

Back yoga lets the practitioner focus on bring mind, body and spirit in harmony and this well rounded nature of the exercise and unified approach is immensely beneficial in back pain treatment. The overall effects of Yoga are not only to treat the body but to the soul mind also.

Another back yoga is Sun Salutation. For doing this yoga, you have to stand upright with feet comfortably positioned and balanced; bring your hands before your chest in a praying position. Then inhale and slowly lift your arms over your head. If not uncomfortable, lean forward and touch the floor with your hands. In beginning it could be difficult to touch floor, so beginner can bend as much he can resting your hands on your knees. This can be done just first half raising the arms overhead.

There is another yoga exercises named corpse. In Corpse yoga, lie flat on your back in a relaxed position, palms down and arms resting at your sides, legs lying naturally with knees turned out slightly; Inhale and exhale for a few seconds and allow any tension to leave the body.

It is necessary that all back yoga exercises should be done with the help of a trained instructor.
